My daughter bleached her hair and now its like long orange chewing gum, what should I do?

Her hair was a really dark brown with a hint of red and she decided she wanted to be blonde, despite me telling her that she couldm't just "go blonde" she bleached it and its a mess. The roots are really blonde, the middle bits are light orange, and the lengths are orange. There are chewing gummy bits all over it and its all snapping off. She can't comb it as its coming out.

I would give it a rest for a while and deep condition it. Bleach CAN be damaging if you do not use it the right way. If she still wants to be blonde I would bleach it again after a couple of weeks and then tone it with a nice shade of blonde. If she want her old color back i would bleach it in the spots that need it to make it even and then put her natural color on. Hope this helps.

The solon would be the best thing, but if you dont want to spend the money, go get some more dye and a beauty store, NOT grocery store, either go blond again, give it another coat, or go darker, to cover it up. Good luck.

she need to buy ION and there is another product that will stop the breakage at Sally. She need to immediate go to a beautician so then can keep the hair from falling. she must have use a permanent. she should have use a semi. some permanent will take the hair out if you don't know what you are doing.

I have always had good luck with Garnier Nutrisse. But you need to go a darker color. Bleaching it will only make it lighter orange.

unfortunately you must spend some money and take her to a salon....they may have to cut quite a bit to get rid of the damaged area's....then a filler will have to be applied to color back to natural color....i cringe when people come to me after a home disaster and have me fix damaged hair...always see a stylist...going to school to learn safe techniques is why we are here to keep disaster from happening at home....good luck
