Yah, I have a million little nits and yesterday I used nix to kill the few (under 10) lice on my head but the plastic comb i have been using doesn't get them and barely works on my long, thick hair! Any overnight, easy to get out methods? I would use olive oil but i don't know if it works and i think i couldn't get it out of my hair.

mayo works sometimes, or u can just use the shampoo,and the comb.they usually work,without damaging ur hair.

Go to a drug store like Walgreen's or CVS, Walmart would even have it, and buy a shampoo specifically designed to kill Lice.

There is no overnight remedy - the live nits that you removed are great - there are eggs that are still on the hair will hatch in a few days (7 to 10) then you will have more live nits. You need to remove all bedding and spray your mattresses and couches, carpets even your car. I have really long think hair as well and although i had a headache for days using that comb it seemed to work you have to take REALLY small pieces and run the comb thru it. I used that kit also you can try beer (believe it or not) and I have even heard of using dog shampoo.
