Well I have very thick hair and it doesn't cover my neck and only a little of it goes in my ears. I already tried combing it, using special shampoo and sprays. Please help me. Should I try using a straightner?

A straightener would probably be your best bet. They make steam release ones now that can be used on wet hair so they don't take as long. Just be careful not to overdo it.

back in the day when long straight hair was in style we used to iron our hair , wed lay our head on the ironing board and take wax paper and put it on the hair then iron the wax paper and our hair would be straight. of course this takes 2 people to do
