I do believe this website is called yahoo 'answers' not yahoo 'opinions'.

There are plenty of websites specifically designated for people outlet their criticisms and opinions about stupid bullshit. This is not one of them. Report It

i wouldn't attempt the neglect method. I'd actually advise you to start them out by twisting them in sections applying beeswax until they start to lock, it can take about 2 weeks.

  1. Wow, those who are knocking the "neglect" method instead of answering the actual question and giving positive feedback must be teeny boppers..."ew please go get a hairbrush and brush your hair"... seriously? You obviously haven't educated yourself enough to know how healthy this hairstyle is versus using products and shampoos with chemicals on them that are tested on animals in labs, leaving burns on them, blinding them, paralyzing them... all so that these nasty concoctions are just safe enough for you to use on your manufactured pretty little head... ew, go rinse the built up residue out of your hair!

Btw, Dr Bronner's soap is kickass, I suggest it 150% for those with dreadlocks, good luck, I have just started my journey too!
