I want to layer a red lace camisole, with my black V-Neck dress ?

I have a black V-neck knit dress, that I would like to accessorize by wearing my red lace trimmed camisole underneath, so that the red lace peaks out around the V-neckline. I also plan on wearing one small red hair accessory, (A red crystal hair comb) Is the lacy layered look so yesterday ? (or so 80's) ? Thanks !

no i would wear it! it deffinitly highlights the black...because sometimes black can be plain
