How do you fix dry damaged hair inexpensibly?

I have always had dry hair but it was still very nice and I got compliments all the time, I got a perm about 4 months ago and it still is not out all the way. I can't even comb it until it is dry then it breaks and falls out. What can I do?

How do you fix dry damaged hair inexpensibly?

Use a protein pack once a week. There are some good ones at Sallys beauty supply about a $2pk (you get a few uses out of 1). Some smell nasty but they strengthen your hair. %26amp; use a moisture treatment every other day to keep it flexible ($2pk). When you wash your hair don't scrunch it up, smooth the shampoo through, you can still scrub your scalp just do it underneath your hair. No sense tangleing it more. Get a wide toothed comb for combing it when its wet. %26amp; if you need it, put some conditioner in a spray bottle with mostly water as a cheap tangle spray.

And I hate to say the "cut" word, but your gonna need to trim the ends quite a bit. That way you won't tear out or break as much hair when you comb it. Plus it will look better as it grows out without the fried ends.

How do you fix dry damaged hair inexpensibly?

you need to go to Sally's beauty supply store and buy a weekly deep conditioner. apply it after you shampoo, cover with a shower cap and leave on for 20 minutes! and don't wash your hair every day maybe every other day. when you condition your hair normally leave it in for 3-5 minutes before you rinse it so the steam from the shower can push it into your hair shaft. and always comb through with fingers while conditioner is in. use shine serum before you blow dry or use any thermal appliances on your hair!!! good luck hope this helps you

How do you fix dry damaged hair inexpensibly?

use a hot oil treatment pretty inexpensive at the walgrens and take a general vitamin and maybe some E alone for the hair and also peanut butter as a treatment and beer will help and dont use regular shampoo everyday it kills dry hair everyother day is enough

try coconut oil.

How do you fix dry damaged hair inexpensibly?

It sounds like you need moisture in your hair. You should get a shampoo and conditioner that will replace the moisture and elasticity in your hair and since you mentioned you had a perm you will want products that are for chemically damaged hair. You may also want to try a weekly treatment just to boost the moisture replacement. Sometimes a little bit of a trim helps get rid of the damage.

How do you fix dry damaged hair inexpensibly?

look into getting a cute short cut. You cant correct damage like that with products nothing will fix it except a good cut. In four months your hair only grows 2 inches. Don't waste your money on products. There are some really cute short styles and your hair will eventually grow back. I have had this problem before and tried everything! your hair will just keep breaking off until it grows out

How do you fix dry damaged hair inexpensibly?

ok. don't wash your hair for a day or two. yes! do not wash for a day or two! this will give the oils in your hair a chance to repare the damage. and you can wash your hair with water too. but don't rub the water in your hair. just rinse it. and go to a salon and see what they can do there. get a hot oil treatment or get your hair deep conditoned. good luck!

Most of the reasons for dry hair come from external factors, such as:

閳?sun damage

閳?over use of styling aids

閳?colouring and perming.

Dry hair is mostly caused by the sebaceous glands producing too little oil. A low oil secretion reduces the natural protection of the hair and moisture content.

Also, if you have been ill and prescribed medication the hair can become damaged and dry.

Dry hair does not need washing as often as normal or greasy hair. Once or twice a week is all you'll need to keep it clean and cleanse your scalp.

Choose a nourishing shampoo for dry hair. It'll help protect it without stripping it of any natural oils.

Condition your hair regularly with an intensive treatment to prevent further damage and lock in the moisture you might have lost due to all that hair styling.

If you can bear it, let your hair dry naturally to give it a rest from all those heated appliances. Also a regular trim will get rid of any split ends and keep it looking good.

How do I get rid of the annoying bend in my hair???

I have slightly wavy, layered shoulder length hair. But on my left side, theres this unnatural bend in my hair, which looks really weird cos its flat on top, curved in the middle then staight again at the ends. I've tried everything, blow-drying, air-drying, combing/brushing, cutting, straightening... but they dont work so I result to tying it into a boring old ponytail almost everyday.

Is it the ponytail that makes the bend? I can't help it, I have to tie it for school. So now when I leave it down, my hair looks smooth and nice on the right side and as if I have a huge ear underneath it on the left side. Pls help!

How do I get rid of the annoying bend in my hair???

the best advice i can give it to stop wearing it in a ponytail for a while- i have something similar, but it just dries that way- i have this little piece of hair on my right side that curls up- lol annnooooyyyiiinnggg!!!

How do I get rid of the annoying bend in my hair???

yup the pony makes the bend....try this...the next time u was ur hair wash it at night dry it with a blow dryer and then sleep on it...... it should work or if it doesnt the njust let it grow out some more and then blowdry it with a circular comb :]

I have the WORST hair, how can I get it to unfriz, untangle, and managable?

I'm twelve years old, and I never bothered to brush my hair. It's like a really really dark brown and when wet (or just pulled really hard) it goes down almost (ALMOST) halfway down my back. It sticks out everywhere, brushes hurt, I dont have a comb line thing, when it's wet it takes forever to dry and when it does it gets all rough and smelly, it's tangly and frizzy, and it's always messy.

What can I do to get it less messy? Tips please ;)

I have the WORST hair, how can I get it to unfriz, untangle, and managable?

First of all brush it before you get in the shower. When you brush just grab small sections at a time. It will take a while but it will be worth it. Then use a really good cleansing shampoo. Scrub it into your roots (not with your nails, fingers!!!). Then Condition. When you come out of the shower GENTLY squeeze your hair with a towel. That will get water out of it and make it dry a little faster because the towel absorbs moisture. Dont rub though! That will make hair frizzy!!! Now after that, comb your hair. The conditioner should have made it easy to comb/brush. Dont brush your hair when its wet, its not healthy for your hair. Then put a frizz control serum or hair lotion on your hair and apply it lightly. Too much will make your hair greasy. Then let it air dry or blowdry however you like and it should be soft and easy to brush...Just ALWAYS brush your hair everyday. Otherwise it gets Tangly.

I have the WORST hair, how can I get it to unfriz, untangle, and managable?

Shave Head.

I have the WORST hair, how can I get it to unfriz, untangle, and managable?

ok same here ok yesterday i looked in the mirror adn saw my end looked like crap and so i have the garnier sleen n shine leave in condinter and i use it when my hair wet and so i put some on it any way and i love it me ends are so moist:p i dampd my hair like the bottles says and then i put a small amount in my hair and thn i comb it through and then i let it dry theni flat iorn...theni put alittle more on it

Garnier sleek n shine leave in cream

I have the WORST hair, how can I get it to unfriz, untangle, and managable?

first when ur taking a shower adn u put conditioner on ur hair comb it out adn then when u finsh comin it and gettin all the knots out rinse ur hair then when u get out the shower juss leave it out and let it air dry and then put the hair lotion called PINK and just let it out and dry

I have the WORST hair, how can I get it to unfriz, untangle, and managable?

ID GET A COMB.

you shouldnt brush your hair when its wet.

and when your hair drys .... start from the bottom then work your way up... (less painful)

brushing your hair too much strips it of its natural oils (which it needs) and id shampoo everyother day(still using conditioner)... it sounds likeyou just have dry hair that need to be taken care of better...

STAY AWAY FROM FLAT IRONS.... it only makes the frizz worse. oh and let the conditioner sit .... dont rinse right away.

I have the WORST hair, how can I get it to unfriz, untangle, and managable?

first of all, its very important to brush your hair. when you don't that gets it even more tangled. i have very curly, curly hair, and my hair goes to my middle back. what i do is when you take a shower, use a lot of shampoo and conditioner. when washing your hair, comb through it with your hands. as soon as you get out of the shower, brush your hair for about 15 minutes. it may hurt when you brush but thats suppose to happen. you need to get all the tangles out and make sure that your hair is healthy. i hope i helped, and you can email me for more information!

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

since i wont have to comb it and cause breakage while the braids are in.

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

It won't make it healthier if anything the hair will get damaged from the braids being too tight.

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

I don't know if egyptians ever braided their hair or not.

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

sometimes if you use greese

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

Thats what I hear!

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

no

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

When I had dreads, it broke at about 4 inches. If you want long straight hair, you really just have to stick to wearing a hat or cover when you sleep and being careful about it getting wet since you may be using chemicals to straighten it.

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

i'm asian. so therefore.. i have no clue.

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

It's my understanding that through experience as well reading about hair, it will become brittle if it's constantly pulled to tight, as for helping it grow? I do not think that stress on the roots are going to help it grow more, it's a healthy scalp, and regular washing that is going to help, also scalp stimulation that will promote healthy growth

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

well braids are a good way to go but you must maintain it wash your hair and before you get your braids done get your ends clipped first and if you perm your hair do it every 2 months to keep it strong then every two months get your end clipped and watch it grow ok

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

On some girls it looks good but When do you ever wash it?

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

NO! Braids won't make your hair longer or stronger or healthier! Braids, most of the time are so time that it causes a lot of stress to your hair and your hair ends up falling out when you take the braids out! I hate braids! I just had some for 2 weeks, and when I took them down and shampooed my hair, clumps of my hair was going down the drain! It causes too much breakage, so don't do it!

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

It really depends on your hair type. If you have fine hair then it may break your hair especially if you leave them in for a long time. If your hair is thick and strong enough it may grow your hair. You should also make sure the person who braids your hair knows what they are doing. Some people braid too tight and it makes your edges fall out. Your hair will shed once you take them out so if your hair has a tendency to shed a lot now then I wouldn't get them. I've had micros once and I only left them in a month because I wanted to see what would happen. My hair shed a lot. I haven't put anymore in, I don't want to risk it.

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

of cause yes heathier but seing that you have short hair you might not have it long

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

For black girls the rubber bands break off ur ends and DON'T PUT WEAVE IN UNLESS UR DESPERATE!

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

it will make your hair grow but healthier i don't think so

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

Personally, No. I doesn't help. Yes it makes most of us lot cutier and more boys like us because we have long fake hair. But really, you can get bumps from them being to tight, and it breaks of your hair especailly with small braids (micros) and when you use rubber bands at the ends. Also, burning it is not the best thing to do because you may burn your real hair by mistake then lose all of your hair. It also my make you bald. That happend to a girl that I go to school with. My advice: Wrap you hair often. French braid it (one big braid not tight), Comb it (not to much), Brush it 100x a day, read Black Hair Magazines for more information.

Good Luck.

~long haired beauty

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

actually it could help if you have thick fuzzy hair if you don't have fuzzy hair and your hair is real fine that would not be a good idea, remember to keep it oiled.....but not to oily, your braids should only last for a maximum of three weeks any more than that your hair will try to lock and when you take it out then your hair will start shedding, but to keep your hair nice and fresh while your hair is braided go to the hair store and get dry shampoo, where you put the liquid on your scalp and wipe it off with a towel especially if you like to swim you will really need that because the chlorine will eat the hair away and break it off, also what would be a better idea, rather your hair is long or short to wear weave, weave will keep your real hair protected, and who ever is braiding your hair tell them not to braid to tight or to loose.

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

i get my hair braided all the time and my hair grow you just need to take care of it when it is braided like put hair food greese in between of the braids so your hair wont dry out then tie it down when you go to bed so it will look neat get your hair done every two weeks thats the only thing i can say because thats what i do

Will hair braiding (for an african amercian girl) make my hair get healthier and grow lonhger?

Your hair is not short i keep my hair in braids (croshades) (i think that's how you spell it) and that makes it grow a lot but I keep it in for 2-3 months. you should keep your hair in braids until you think it starts looking bad or until you think it's time to take it down.

What is the best way to chemically relax curly/very frizzy hair?

My hair currently becomes the closest thing to an afro that a white girl can get when I comb it, and I was looking around on makeoversolutions.com to see what I would look like with a straighter style and really liked this one

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y244/sa...

I would try relaxing my hair so that it wouldn't need so much straightening to get it like this

Last time I had my hair relaxed though, I paid $80 at a hair salon and I saw no difference at all. Is it hopeless for me?

What is the best way to chemically relax curly/very frizzy hair?

I have straight hair but it is VERY frizzy.

My mom's a hairstylist so here's what i do:

1. Take a shower

2. Blow dry my hair until it's a little damp.

3. But in Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops (My mom's hair salon has a lot of Paul Mitchell products.)

4. Blog dry it the rest of the way.

5. Flat iron my hair and make it straight =)

How do I get my temples to grow? (And more question about afro hair)?

1) My temples will not grow. I stopped braiding them. They won't grow. I stopped relaxing them. They won't grow! I look bald!

2) When you relax your hair, do you relax all the hair or just new growth?

3) How can you safely learn to relax your own hair?

4) What is a good flat iron that will straighten kinky roots and last long? Or a hot comb that is safe to use on your own?

How do I get my temples to grow? (And more question about afro hair)?

ive heard that carrot oil is good for strengthening your hair and encouraging growth. there is also regro, for african american women

relaxers are not good for your hair. yes, you are only supposed to relax the new growth, but relaxers thin and eventually break your hair.

as for the flat iron, i have no clue. i keep being told that any heat on your hair thins it and breaks it...we just cant win. i guess its best to be under a beautician, who can look out for the well-being of your hair. If you got under a good beautician, your hair would be healthy and it would grow like you would not believe. its just a matter of being able to afford going to a beautician once or twice a week. you should look for a ceramic flat iron that doesnt get too hot, so as not to burn your hair...maybe one that has a set temperature, and doesnt go beyond that. also, if you cant afford a beautician, maybe you can just talk to one and get some advice. good luck.

i just recently quit relaxing my hair, and im using carrot oil, and it seems to be working a bit. i do use heat on my hair, but a very minimal amount.

How do I get my temples to grow? (And more question about afro hair)?

Chi's are the best straightners there jsut really expensive but if your looking for something cheaper go with Revlon

How do I get my temples to grow? (And more question about afro hair)?

I think your sides/temples are bald due to damage from relaxing, straightening, braiding, hot combing and flat ironing.. You've stated that you don't do any of those things to your temples anymore, but reversing the damage you've done in the past takes some time. It does not go away after not relaxing or frying it for a few months.

Your hair needs some tender loving care, freedom from heat and a vacation from the chemicals (all over - not just the temples)

What's the condition of the rest of your hair???

How do I get my temples to grow? (And more question about afro hair)?

1) have you tried "fertilizing temple balm" or "fertilizing serum" by Organic root stimulator? Go to a beauty supply store and ask about what they have to treat hair loss. They have a lot of products on the market. You need to hurry and act now because hair loss doesnt get better with time.

2) when you relax your hair just relax the new growth. If you relax everything it could cause breakage or damage your hair. You should ask a stylist to be sure. It might be ok to just start with the new growth, leave it for a while, then apply to the rest of the hair and leave it for 2 or 3 minutes.

3) You could ask a stylist or get a book on the subject. the link below has some books on black hair.

4)a ceramic iron is better than a hot comb on relaxed hair. The Chi iron is supposed to be the best. You could get it ( or a cheaper ceramic iron) at a beauty supply

How do I get my temples to grow? (And more question about afro hair)?

1) Start messaging your scalp. hairline and temple areas with a hair dressing that contains natural herbs, vitaimns and minerals. I suggest you use African Pride. Do this at least two times a week.

2) When it's a virgin perm I do the whole head, when it's touch up time, just do the roots or the new growth only.

3) I always done my own hair. Just remember, don't apply ther relaxer to scalp,, don't scratch your scalp prior to relaxing and follow the instructions to a T.

4. I try not to use heated appliance to my hair. If you do buy a hot comb so you can get to the roots and hair line area better. I bought my hot comb from Sallys Beauty Supply. With the wide spaces between the teeth.

How do I get my temples to grow? (And more question about afro hair)?

In order for your temples to grow back, you are going to have to stop relaxing it. Stop putting tension on it by flat ironing it. You are literally burning and pulling the hair out of your head. Stop trying to conform and love your natural nappy self!!!Remove the kinks from your brain not your hair!!!!

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

I went natural about 6 months ago and I all I've gotten is hate and animosity for it. People were saying things like "You need a perm to comb out those naps" or "you look like an African" I find it dissapointing that most of the people who were making the slick comments were Black folks. i want to straighten it out again because men don't even look at me anymore and they ignore me now. Even my dad has said that I was more attractive with longer and straight hair. I'm so depressed and I feel ugly.

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

i feel ugly too my mom says that i looked like an african, my cousins says that i look boring, some stupid *ss brothas say i looked like a run-away slave and that i was afraid of the straightening comb..etc and the worst part of it they all are blk :(...do anything you feel like and dont get that imus "nappy-headed ho" thing on your mind...people will always find something good or bad to talk about...

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

It's all about image these days. Skinny girls, certain fashions, etc. Wear your hair how YOU feel comfortable, but don't let it get too messy, because in ANY culture that's just a no-no. You don't have to "fit-in" anywhere, just do what you feel looks nice on you, regardless if other people agree or not. Remember: you're not going to have the same hairstyle for the rest of your life, so it's always good to try new things!

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

Do what makes you feel good.

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

then grow ur hair back, END OF STORY

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

Come bring your beautiful black head over here.. :X.

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

Come to South Africa...

Our most popular model and business woman (Noni Gasa) is bald...

I actually find the reaction of your peers and dad shocking. Here being in your natural hair is as normal has having soap in your bathroom.... extensions are expensive.

The other thing is none of them pay your grooming bill so they should just shut up...You go ahead in what is best, dont feel depressed over things that aren't crucial to ones life...

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

just goes to show you that the mentality fostered alllllllll the way back to slavery still exists. maybe you can alternate from pressing %26amp; straightening your hair (not perming it) %26amp; researching pretty alternative natural hairsytles to try out, until you can build up your confidence to wear your hair natural. remember wearing your hair natural is actually a statement %26amp; therefore you're going to be scutinized for going against what is accepted in the mainstream culture. think jill acott, lauryn hill %26amp; erica badu!! GOOD LUCK. I apologize on the behalf of black men, I think black women look even better natural.

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

It's your decision, your hair, your head, your life. If you like it this way, just don't care about the comments. Leave those people alone, how can they be so mean?? Don't feel ugly!! You're beautifu! Beauty is not defined by other rude people's comments, it's defined by you! Your personality, your feelings, your outlooks.

Just don't care about these people, this is your life and they have no right to comment on your looks! You like it this way so keep your head up and wear it proudly. Don't let them take you down, it's none of their business! If they keep telling you rude comments, it just shows how shallow they are, they should feel bad about that and not you!!

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

I think that is really stupid, everyone is so set that long straight hair is beautiful. I guess it is the same thing with wearing make-up, natural faces aren't considered attractive you have to enhance them. Honestly do your hair however you want to do it, whatever you like best. Those other people who are trying ot bring you down are just brainwashed like everyone else to think skinny, big breasts, long straight hair, and wearing lots of make up is attractive. I really appreciate African culture, most women there are so natural, so comfortable with their looks. We could lal take a lesson from them. Also if a man doesn't look at you because of your hair, then he is not worth your time. You do not want a man who only goes for looks!

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

Why is this not in the hair section? Wear your hair the way you want and tell everyone else to mind their own business.

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

here is the question you will be asking yourself when you get older, that's if you have any self respect left. HAVE I LIVED MY LIFE BASED ON WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK OF ME?

You're on here explaining to people about you situation. Your natural hair is what you were born with and what your creator gave you. Be proud of it. And keep this in mind for the rest of your life, what those people that call themselves your FATHER , SISTER, BROTHER, FRIENDS are treating you the same way the SLAVE MASTER and other BIGOTS treated the African during slavery. Not only did they break the African PHYSICALLY but also MENTALLY, and SPIRTUALLY. Now you sit there crying and depressed because you don't know about your African ancestry. And what you do know is not enough to make you feel strong and prond no matter what a person says to you. And all the black people that make fun you have POST SLAVE DISORDER. They are the ones that are weak because they not only CAN"T be what they were born as, they are helping continue the LIE. Black people's hair, in its natural form, is BEAUTIFUL and will always be. Nine Ether Hair is the strongest hair of any other culture and it's a perfect hair follicle

that also has other properties. Be strong sista and don't let anyone dictate to you what BEAUTY is. Your creator knows best. And because I am a MAN and have chidlren, your father is, well, this is just my opinion, an ASHhole because he is oppressing his child. I could see if you were wearing dog penises around your neck on a gold chain, but you're not. You just want to be natural, and he is acting like a slave owner. And what's wrong with looking like an African? If it weren't for the Africans, the so called African American, which they so willingly allow themselves to be labeled, for the 5th or 6th time, wouldn't be here. Again, if I get thumbed down for this you're actually thumbing down FACTS, your self respect, your life, and your dignity.

Should I give up wearing my hair natural?

Hey this was one of my questions:

Do black women realize that they look so much better when they wear their own Natural Hair....?

I'm so sick of weaves and perms on Black women !...

when I went to Cameroon, Senegal, and parts of East Africa a couple years back I saw some of the world's most Exotic Beautiful Black women you could ever imagine with Natural BEAUTY out of this world! I think straight weaves and perms are so played out and being Natural is so in!

Black women are Bohemian by nature and they should be proud of it!

I'm ALL for the Natural !!

No, that is not a reason to change your hair; if you just wanted to go back to your old hair that's different but you're trying to change your hair for other people but other people don't define your beauty, you do

Don't you think scene hair is turning into something from the 80s?

Don't you think scene hair is turning into something from the 80s?

I wish I could comment on what 'scene' hair is, but if it's anything like emo... we should just shoot ourselves now.

My hair is short and what some people call 'Kinky hair" and i need the best hair product?

to make it soft and shiny and easy to comb

My hair is short and what some people call 'Kinky hair" and i need the best hair product?

my hair's a lot like that too.

try john freida "frizz-ease" - it's amazing. it makes your hair silky and smooth without greasiness. i swear by it. it has shampoo, conditioner, and all types of creams, gels, serums, and sprays for any style.

and you can't go wrong with a ceramic ionic straightener.

My hair is short and what some people call 'Kinky hair" and i need the best hair product?

me too I hope we get some good answrs, I just said to heck with it and gave it to its wild ways!

My hair is short and what some people call 'Kinky hair" and i need the best hair product?

Try Garnier fructis sleek and shine weightless anti frizz serum. You can buy it at a drugstore for 4 bucks. It lasts a long time, usually a month.

My hair is short and what some people call 'Kinky hair" and i need the best hair product?

coconut oil by far the best. You can apply it to wet or dry hair. In my experience wet hair is best but try it and see what suits.

My hair is short and what some people call 'Kinky hair" and i need the best hair product?

Sunsilk... the purple bottle. I can't remember what it is called.. but get the purple bottle. It'll work miracles. PLUS, it smells amazing!

My hair is short and what some people call 'Kinky hair" and i need the best hair product?

try the bumble and bumble line...a bit pricey but its worth it! try not to wash ur hair everyday too...that helps a lot

My hair is short and what some people call 'Kinky hair" and i need the best hair product?

conditioner it will make it soft

My hair is short and what some people call 'Kinky hair" and i need the best hair product?

I have short hair also. First when my hair is wet I use mousse, then red-ken rewind 06 its a paste. Then let your hair dry a little and apply a small amount of molding wax. After that style and apply a little more wax. Try that. GOOD LUCK

My hair is short and what some people call 'Kinky hair" and i need the best hair product?

try using conditioner. Any will do. Some nice, inexpensive brands are Dove Conditioner, Oasis, Suave.

Leave it in for 60 seconds, then rinse. Comb your hair out, and then make sure you put in some mousse with protectant, or even some straightener serum. Frizz Eaze sells great mousse and straightener serum for a low price. Bursh your hair out again, and then either let it naturally dry, or use a flat iron to straighten it out. Maybe even scrunch it. =)

My hair is short and what some people call 'Kinky hair" and i need the best hair product?

a product called bed head works for me- its by TIGI and is considered an "after-party" smoothing cream.

you will spend about $18 on it

it comes in a hot pink tube that has a huge bulb on the top.

How do I keep my hair nice and neat in bad weather?

I do my hair in the mourining wash it strainten it then i walk to school and usally it turns into a mess...

is a there a product i could use or a comb or something?

xx

How do I keep my hair nice and neat in bad weather?

I use sunsilk hair straightening balm, it keeps the frizz low.

How do I keep my hair nice and neat in bad weather?

Maybe tie it up instead of leaving it down, or maybe some hairspray.

Anyone have curly hair extensions?

I will be getting extensions. They WILL be curly ones. Still wondering about the length. Do the curly extensions tangle? What is it like brushing or combing them?

Anyone have curly hair extensions?

I have them. They are not too long, but it a little hard to maintain, so I go to the shop every two weeks. I do not comb them because the comb pulls it out, but I do brush it. It looks very good but I am unable to maintain it myself.

Anyone have curly hair extensions?

it is hard my friend had them

What do i do to my baby's hair!?!?

i am getting so aggrevated! her hair is super super thick and long, and she cries so much when i do it i almost cry and i don't even do anything to it! before i would just suck it up and braid or twist it but she cried terribly then too, right now she is crying and i m tearing up, i don't know what to do! right now she has one pony tail in her hair and the rest is a horrid fro, i can't even pick it out with a pick or a large comb, i can't use my fingers, and can't use a brush, OGoodness what should i do, she is getting pictures taken sunday.

What do i do to my baby's hair!?!?

lolol. my baby is the same age as yours and weve been having the same problem for like ever!!!!!!!!!the only difference is i kinda suck it up now and let her cry, she has to get used to it and so do u sweety.. i used to get really upset when my baby cried too!but her hair grows really fast and thick that if i leave it out it looks a mess so it always has to b braided up. I had to learn to sit her down and let her cry and cry...

you should really try it wen she is sleeping, it did not work for me.

i just kinda made her deal with it...it got so bad that wen she saw the comb she would start crying. now she actually just sits there and lets me do it..

you have to make her get used to it, it may take some time...try give her her bittle too, it might calm her.

other than that all i can say is do wat i did, learn to deal with it, sit her down and do it even if she cries, after a while shel get used to it like my daughter did and will only cry if your really, really hurting her.

What do i do to my baby's hair!?!?

Put some pink oil or pomade in it and just finger comb it and put it in pony tails. Just don't get any product in her eyes-- you know. :O)

What do i do to my baby's hair!?!?

Get her hair combed in the back by someone who knows how to cut hair with one of the combs with blades in it, it does not hurt, and it is used to thin out hair. You could shampoo and condition it then curl or straighten it, especially for pictures!

EDIT: Buy some detangler for her hair!! Then comb it out, or you could get her hair wet then brush it, makes it easier.

What do i do to my baby's hair!?!?

Do it when she's sleeping.......(this has been done plenty of time by my family members)

or

Use a really good baby conditioner and baby detangeler when washing her hair and braid her hair as soon as she comes out, when it's still wet. (also has been done plenty of times by my family members)

Sounds like she's real sensitive on her head.....there's a name for that.......s**t, I forgot what's it called.....it starts with a T......my husband has it, he's a real pain in the but when we used to braid his hair....anyway, you get my drift.....

Good luck!!

What do i do to my baby's hair!?!?

Oh dear....try using a raw egg to sort it out and untangle everything. Obviously, using a comb or your fingers won't really effectively work. Or try squirting water on your baby's hair with a seltzer bottle and try to comb from there. Good luck! If all else fails by Sunday, tie your baby's hair up with a hair tie and knot it with a ribbon.

What do i do to my baby's hair!?!?

wash it and use a lot of conditioner. while brushing it use spray leave in conditioner. Brush starting from the tip of the hair and with each stroke start a little further up.

I have knots in my hair!?

I have to large knots in my hair. One on each side. How convienient, right? I've just washed it and I have conditioner in it right now. Should I just slowly start to brush it out? Should I use a comb instead? Are there any other tips anyone can think of to get these pesky knots out? All would be appreciated.

I have knots in my hair!?

use a comb... and try to do it while the conditioner is in it. that will make it easier

I have knots in my hair!?

get in the shower...put conditioner in ur hair...ALOT on the knots...take a PICK and comb through it...hopefully that will get it out...

I have knots in my hair!?

Yeah thats what works, put conditioner in your hair, tonz and tonz, then dont take it out, and comb it out with a comb, slowly, so that you dont pull your hait out!

I have knots in my hair!?

there are detanglers, and don't use a brush it will make you get split ends... start combing from the ends then work your way up...

I have knots in my hair!?

Use a large tooth comb and begin to comb the snarls out at the bottom and work your way up to your scalp. I have this problem as well. What has worked for me is wearing my hair in a ponytail while I sleep. You may also want to get a soft bristled brush to use, to maintain your hair. Never brush your hair wet; only use a large tooth comb. Anti-tangle sprays and leave in conditoners also make the detangling process easier.

I have knots in my hair!?

yeah she is right but dont use a comb it will pull your hair out, while you still have conditioner in it brush it out in parts, dont brush it as a whole pull parts apart and brush in sections

I have knots in my hair!?

I used to get knots really frequently as a young child. Starting at the bottom of the knot, begin to comb it out. It's good you have conditioner on it. Whatever you do, don't cut the hair out unless it's a SERIOUS knot. Good luck.

I have knots in my hair!?

Do not brush!!! You'll seriously damage your hair. And it'll hurt really bad!

Good job leaving the conditioner in, that will loosen the knots and make your hair slippery. If you didn't put very much in, get back in the shower and coat it on really well and work it into the knots. While you have the conditioner in get a wide-toothed comb and start working through it. Once you get it worked out a little bit then switch to a finer-toothed comb. It'll take time but the conditioner should help.

You could also buy a detangling spray, those sometimes help, although your best bet is doing what you're doing with the conditioner.

Once you get the knots worked through get back in the shower and rinse out all the conditioner really well, because at this point you'll have a TON in your hair! Good luck, I feel your pain!

I have knots in my hair!?

brush it with conditioner in your hair to make it easier

I have knots in my hair!?

Get a bottle of kids spray detangler. I use my kids all the time. It works. Just brush or comb it out - I know it can be a long process. I usually work some of it out and then clip back what I brushed through to get it out of the way.

What do i do to my baby's hair???

No matter how much i tease and hairspray my hair won't stay up?

:(

i have short enough layers

i have several combs and brushes

i have wax and hairspray

i've followed youtube tutorials

but no matter what i do it goes flat 5 minutes later

what am i doing wrong? :(

No matter how much i tease and hairspray my hair won't stay up?

Try Spray N Play by Big Sexy Hair. It can be a little stiff, but it will hold anything up! It's probably cheapest to buy it on ebay, because it will cost you around $20 in the salon.

No matter how much i tease and hairspray my hair won't stay up?

Add Rachel Bilson-like oomph to the old-fashioned way. Francky weas by steam rollers. Dry your hair, and wrap a few top layers around the curlers. After a few minutes take them out. Seal with a curl, and spritz of hair spray. and poof!- voluminous locks.

MY TIP (not GL'S):

Buy larger rollers, like 2-3 inches in diameter. When your hair is wet, put the top layer in rollers (thin layers) (hair too short? go for small rollers, but only rap them around twice.... you want oomph, not curl....

BUT for any of you out there who want celebrity curly hair:

Let your hair dry naturally, Wrap layers around a large barrek, hair ironer; curl the hair starting at the top.

I hope that I helped!!

HINT: finish everything with a pritz of hairspray......

No matter how much i tease and hairspray my hair won't stay up?

Unfortunately some people's just will not tease!!! If its thinner its easier... sorry, mine doesn't really stay either! :)

No matter how much i tease and hairspray my hair won't stay up?

Hairspray weighs down hair; apply a volumizer at the roots, then a round brush with a blow dryer.

No matter how much i tease and hairspray my hair won't stay up?

It may be in the way that you are doing it, or it may just be your hair type.

I've found that it works best for coarser hair, ie thick or bleached hair..

When you are teasing it and adding the hairspray, make sure that you backcomb it and spray it from underneath, it will stay a whole lot longer than just sprayed on the top..

Hope I helped!

No matter how much i tease and hairspray my hair won't stay up?

hey u shud go to saloon n they will give u some uv light or some light treatment for 30 min, this makes ur hair stay up perminantly n fallow the guidelines given by saloon shop

No matter how much i tease and hairspray my hair won't stay up?

If you don't have a perm in your hair, you may want to get a "body perm." It will give your hair some bend to it, making a hairstyle do what you want it to do. If your hair is pin straight, no amount of teasing, hairspray, or other styling products will help. If you opt to get a perm, make sure you get the ends trimmed every six to eight weeks. The dry ends will be eliminated %26amp; the perm will last longer %26amp; still look good.

No matter how much i tease and hairspray my hair won't stay up?

It shouldn't be just washed...tease it with a comb with short %26amp; long teeth, that are close together. Made for this~! spray with Freezing spray by Aussie...

No matter how much i tease and hairspray my hair won't stay up?

make sure you are teasing very close to the roots and then spray the teased section with spritz or hairspray. then blowdry it before proceeding to the next section. here's a link on how to tease hair.

Black Women: How do you style your hair?

Do you perm or leave it natural. what do you do. im curious to know how many people are still sticking to perms and hot combs?

Black Women: How do you style your hair?

I feel like or hair is really just like anybody elses.I guess I understand, it's just that some people say good hair bad hair.My hair is actually straighter. I go natural.Sometimes I get it pressed or press it myself. My hair is actually pretty straight though, when I just leave it in a pony tail it gets too straight. But I have thick hair. It's wavy/curly/straight.All different spots have a little different texture. It's strange. The middle is courser than the rest.Wow...I know all about my hair now. Thanks for asking this question and have a nice day.

Black Women: How do you style your hair?

My thanks go out to my homegirl, KoKo Butta and all my friends and my Mama...LOL

Thanxabundle Koka. Report It

Black Women: How do you style your hair?

Personally I perm my hair. A lot of my friends are natural however. Which is cool...

Black Women: How do you style your hair?

I perm my hair, and wait for a week or two.and go get my hair braid.

Black Women: How do you style your hair?

a perm? do you mean a relaxer? if so then ok..but i dont relax my hair lol..im not black but i do have curly hair and i like to just flat iron it..

Black Women: How do you style your hair?

I usually wear it natural, for special occasions I get it straightened at a salon. !! hope that helps

Black Women: How do you style your hair?

I usually wear my hair natural, but when I get sick of my shirley temple like curls that make me look 5 years old, I will straighten my hair with a flat iron like maybe 3 or 4 times a year. I actually like my hair the way it is most of the time.

Black Women: How do you style your hair?

I've been locking for 9 months... but i've been natural (relaxer free) since 1998.

Black Women: How do you style your hair?

clearly, i am not black, but i do alot of black people's hair and natural is the way to go! there are all sorts of awesome ways to braid it (thats what i do) and extensions are amazing. short afros are really cute to expecially with a blonde or red tint!

Black Women: How do you style your hair?

My hair is Nappy, I've been on a Loc Journey for 6 Months, I love my Natural Hair. Although I've had all the hairstyles you can think of...perms, weaves, braids, strawsets, cornrows and FroHawks..I went natural about 2 years ago...I threw all of my blow dryers, hot combs and moisturizer for 'permed hair' away. Now I only use a spray bottle with mineral water and Olive oil to keep my locs soft and a silk scarf to sleep in at night! No more spending hours of my time on my hair!

Black Women: How do you style your hair?

Mine is a natural afro. Been cut, dreadlocked, bald but neva been relaxed.

Teasing scene hair?

so i have scene hair but every time i try to tease it and make it big it doesn't work i have tried everything can someone help me i do have a teasing comb and i do put hairspray in it when i try

Teasing scene hair?

Chi makes a back combing brush but a comb works great too. they are called backcombing combs

the key to big hair and teasing it with a comb is to take small sections back comb and keep going throught area then smooth with the comb or brush.

Teasing scene hair?

spray the hairspray near your roots and tease down words. hold small, thin sections of your hair out away from your head and tease/ spray them in small sections.

Teasing scene hair?

okay for teasing you want to go to sallys and buy wax.

because wax works the best.

you also want super short layers in between your longer layers.

so they stick up making your hair poof larger (:

Then get a comb where the brushes are super close together, and backcomb SLOWLY down the hair.

I can poof my hair about 2 feet into the air actually.

www.myspace.com/cassyskool if you want to check it out. haha.

What is the best temporary hair dyee that isn't a "spray-in"?

I'm looking for a temporary hair dye that will wash out in up to 6 washes. That means no semi-permanent (up to 6 weeks)....I'm looking for the stuff that is "comb-in" or "wash in" etc. The spray-in stuff is cheap %26amp; crappy and the semi-perm lasts too long. What is the best product for that?

What is the best temporary hair dyee that isn't a "spray-in"?

I dyed my hair twice with Loreal Color Pulse.

I used electric black, so i dont really know how any of the other colors are...

anyway, Its under 6$ and it works well.

On the bottle it said it stays in for up to two weeks.

Mine stayed in for about a week.

I wash my hair everyday.

But it looked nice :]

Good luck .

What is the best temporary hair dyee that isn't a "spray-in"?

herbal essence makes some.

its designed to wash out in a week, so that you can try different hair colors but not be locked into one color

its in a small pink box, you should be able to find it near the other hair dye. typically in the stores around me, they are on the top shelve.

What is the best temporary hair dyee that isn't a "spray-in"?

Henna. The color selection is limited though. It has by the way, been around for thousands of years.

I need help from a Hair stylist that has traveled with there "tools" before.?

I am a hairstylist that needs to fly to Miami from Maryland. I also need to bring all of my "tools" of the trade, i.e. cutting shears, razors, blow dryer, combs and brushes, e.c.t. Is there a definitive travel bag for this kind of thing or do I need to just use a regular carry-on bag? I am nervous about letting them go through. I do not want to have them damaged at all. Pls help!!!!

I need help from a Hair stylist that has traveled with there "tools" before.?

there are stylist carry-alls that come much like a rolling carry-on. check your local beauty supply(cosmoprof maly's sally's), they are silver and black, wheels, handle, you get the picture.

I need help from a Hair stylist that has traveled with there "tools" before.?

Let me just say I'm not a hair stylist, but I would think it would be better to carry them on than checking your bag. Those things get tossed around like crazy! I know that some things are not allowed on planes these days, so you may want to call your airline and see what they recommend you do. That is probably your safest bet.

I need help from a Hair stylist that has traveled with there "tools" before.?

hi

sure there is a practical wanderful special bags !!! more than you can imagine !!! i do not live in your country but they exist in france which i am sure you might have in the staets better and better things they are water proof chock proof designd specialy for each singel tresure of yours ! you will hug the casse while sleeping from joy !

p.s if they turn out very expensive for you you can design your own and fiend some one to make it for you , and if you do not have time , you can just buy a normal (hard) suit casse that can fit into the aireplan there is a legal size that can take all your stuff you have to make sure from the vendor that this can go into the plain , buy or get spongy sheets , i am not sure this is the right word in english but they are very cheap and you can fiend it in any do it your self store or stores for crafts men , role each item in them so they do not bang together , by the way you can inssure( i mean contact an insurance traveling compagny ) your suit casse if your items are too much to be but in the legal size case , because i do not know with all the razors and wepons you will be carrying they will not freak out this days !

so just wrap every thing carefully , put it in a professional casse or just a hard casse , make the insurance and let them put this big sticker of fragile on it

good luck and have fun

I need help from a Hair stylist that has traveled with there "tools" before.?

Check airport policy. You will NEVER get those through on a carry on.

I need some hair tips!?

I need some hair tips!?

I need some hair tips!?

I need some hair tips!?

Does anyone know of any products that can be used on children's curly/afro hair?

My daughter has inherited very curly hair from my wife. She is very fair, with beautiful ginger hair, which is almost like afro hair. It is very tight curls, and as it has grown is just getting tighter. When you unravel a curl it is actually very long. What can i make my hair straight and smooth?

You probably don't want to hear this, but it takes work work work. Only because, if you're going to go against your hair's natural state, it takes some effort. Start by blow drying your hair until completely dry. Get some type of hair serum like Frizz-ease and work a small amount throughout your hair. Then get a straightening iron and straighten your hair bit by bit-- no matter how short it is. Do this each morning. On rainy days, however, you're out of luck. Hope this helps

What can i make my hair straight and smooth?

buy a straightner

What can i make my hair straight and smooth?

The serum she is talking about is JOhn Freida Frizz Ease Serum. Almost every drugstore brand carries a serum though, so you can also try Garnier Sleek and Smooth serum, Thermasilk, ect. Also you might benefit from a cream gel. Shampoo AND cond. first. Just a dime size of conditioner. This will help alot with the roughness of the cuticle. Then when out of the shower and hair is still damp, apply a cream gel. This will give the strong hold of a gel but offer a softness frizz-taming effect of a cream. Just use a small amount and run it lightly through your hair. Dont comb hair, just shake fingers throughout it, and let it dry in its natural wave pattern. This should do it. But you can always experient with different waxes, puttys and mousses. Sally Beauty Supply or just plain old Walmart will have everything you need. Good luck:)

What can i make my hair straight and smooth?

you should use a hair stratener and get a comb and evrey time you go thrugh your hair comb that part i think that will work!

What can i make my hair straight and smooth?

my uncle has the same problem if you want straight and smooth hair then perm your hair straight and then every day when you wake up put jell in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What can i make my hair straight and smooth?

I have hair that sounds like yours only mine is a little longer. I use Dove Replinishing Mist when it is wet and It helps to comb it out and prevents breakage. If you want to wear it with a little curl in it I suggest getting the Totally Twisted Mousse by Herbal Essences. (it's in the purple bottle). It doesn't make your hair feel heavy and it will help to keep it from looking dry and frizzy. If you want to straighten it, get a straightener with ceramic plates. That will keep your hair from frying. Also, before you straighen while the hair is still damp you can use a leave in creme by Thermasilk (I'm not sure what it is called right off the bat, im at work and I can't look). Another product I use when straightening my hair is a spray that prevents the hair from frying. It is by Herbal Essances also in a pink bottle and it's called Straighten Out. I know this answer isn't very organized but I hope it helps!

What can i make my hair straight and smooth?

palmade by paul mitchell is great, or a you could comb a cheap perm through your hair, you do this by applying the waving lotion to the hair, comb it straight, after NO MORE THAN 5 MINUTES , rinse really good, towel dry really good, THEN APPLY THE NEUTRALIZER,COMB THE HAIR STRAIGHT , WAIT 3-5 MINUTES,RINSE WELL................ VERY IMPORTANT........... DON'T LEAVE THE CHEMICALS ON THE HAIR LONGER , THAN I'VE HELPED YOU WITH....YOU DON'T WANT THE HAIR TO BE STRAIGHT AS A BOARD...... BECAUSE WHEN THE NEW GROWTH STARTS COMING IN, AND YOU HAVE REALLY CURLY HAIR...... RIGHT WHERE THE TWO WILL MEET IT WILL BE FRAGILE AND WILL BREAK OFF IF YOU HAVE LET IT BE TOTALLY STRAIGHT.....ALSO............... THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR AFRICAN STYLE HAIR............A STYLIST

Which Hair Style Do Teenage Girls Prefer On Boys (age 14) long or short spiky or combed back plz Rep

I wanna hav a new style but which one do ya think

Thanks for Your Time

Which Hair Style Do Teenage Girls Prefer On Boys (age 14) long or short spiky or combed back plz Reply?

I'm into the longer hair personally... ;)

Which Hair Style Do Teenage Girls Prefer On Boys (age 14) long or short spiky or combed back plz Reply?

It just depends on who you are trying to impress. Different people like different styles.

Which Hair Style Do Teenage Girls Prefer On Boys (age 14) long or short spiky or combed back plz Reply?

Depends on girl. Girls at my school love guys with shaggy hair that goes down into the boy's eyes. But like I said, it definately depends on the girl. I mean, I like long haired guys, but my friend likes freaky dyed crazy coloed hair.

Which Hair Style Do Teenage Girls Prefer On Boys (age 14) long or short spiky or combed back plz Reply?

I like it sort of long, like right to your eyebrows (and that same length all around), but not too long it'll look bad. A lot of guys that age (my age) at my school have that style and it's so cute =)

And don't slick it back (gel/hairspray) so much that it doesn't move - gross. Good luck!

Which Hair Style Do Teenage Girls Prefer On Boys (age 14) long or short spiky or combed back plz Reply?

im 15 so maybe this will help, i dont really like spikes cause those require styling products and i dont like looking at or touching those. Longer hair is good, but not too long, just like somewhere past the eyebrows.

Which Hair Style Do Teenage Girls Prefer On Boys (age 14) long or short spiky or combed back plz Reply?

Depends on the girl. Some might like long, others would like short, I like long and combed back.

Which Hair Style Do Teenage Girls Prefer On Boys (age 14) long or short spiky or combed back plz Reply?

We'll i like curly long hair ;)

Which Hair Style Do Teenage Girls Prefer On Boys (age 14) long or short spiky or combed back plz Reply?

I like long and curly personally. Kinda liek the old gerard way look if that helps.

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

should I ?

a.) shave my head

b.) just keep it like it is now with a lil hair on the sides and back eventually

c.) start growning the back really long and have a skullet

d.) a comb over

e.) or a skullet with a banadana to cover up my dome ( like the hulkster.

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

get a crew cut and ride it out until that's almost not working anymore then shave it -- ONLY if you have the shape of head that looks good with a shaved head

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

a) shave it

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

shave.

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

You won't lose your hair, it's just migrating to other parts of your body. Don't worry it's all part of aging.

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

First, I find it interesting that in your picture, it appears that you have a thick head of hair. Fake picture or are you talking for a friend?

Anyhow, I would go with just leaving it the way it is. Eventually, if it gets too bad THEN shave your head. I know personally I don't like a bald guy.. so yeah.. I would much rather have a guy with SOME hair than NO hair at all.

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

don't worry about it but if u want u could get a hair cut

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

as buffed as u look i vote A

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

shave it.

ew.

balding is gross.

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

Whatever you do, don't start wearing a hat! It'll make your hair thin out faster.

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

A shaved head can be sexy for a man loosing his hair. Wear it with confidence and it will definitely be accepted. If you wish, you can shave it low on the back and sides so that it would be neat and still very attractive. However, you should never attempt a skullet, comb over or skullet/bandana combination it is not sexy or attractive at all. The confidence with accepting that your hair is thinning out will shine through and people will actually respect that and you will most certainly feel better about yourself.

Work it like as it is and watch Paris Hilton tell you "that's hot!!!" :-)

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

massage with wheatgerm oil

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

Ensure that you eat nutritious food, with plenty of leafy vegetables. Have a soya milk drink and multivitamin tablets if you do not have time to have a healthy breakfast.Apply the white of a raw egg on the hair for 30 minutes, and then wash it off with a shampoo. A mixture of lemon juice and egg white and oil massage could also be used to strengthen the roots of hair. More remedies at http://hairthinning.org/ will prevent further problems.

I think my hair is starting to thin out...?

Just leave it the way it is,but if it thins out more to the point where that style doesn't work, then shave it with the clippers. NEVER DO A COMB OVER ! Bald with a goatee looks sexy.

Yorkie hair care, best products and place to buy (online)?

I am looking for a better product to help with tangles and brushing. What products do you use/like? Do you know any good places to look around online for such things?

My yorkie has ideal silky coat and I am using a a professional shampoo, conditioner and detangler but it's just not doing the trick as well as I think it should.

I wash and condition once to twice a week depending on how dirty/ tangly she gets. I comb her out using the detangling spray once to twice a day and re-do her top knot every morning. I think my grooming schedule is good so I am assuming it's the products that are preventing her from having the tangle free coat she deserves, but if you think it may be the schedule let me know what might work better.

Yorkie hair care, best products and place to buy (online)?

I think the detangler is your problem. It's actually not good to keep applying that stuff, I only use it BEFORE a bath to get the knots out. Leaving it in her hair is just creating extra 'stuff' that binds the hair together. In the future, use it to brush her out before baths, and after baths try to avoid using anything.

I suggest a wire slicker brush and fine tooth metal comb for Yorkies, if you don't use those already.

It sounds like you're doing a good job, so I agree that your product use is probably the culprit and not your schedule.

Yorkie hair care, best products and place to buy (online)?

My Yorkie is 7 months now.

I bath her every weekend. I wash her with buddy wash, finish with Buddy Rinse and Pantene Conditioner. Then Blow dry her hair afterward.

During the week, I brush her hair all most every day after dinner. If there isn't any matted hair. I spray her with Buddy Splash and brush her hair. If there is matted hair. I apply some CowBoy Magic detangle and shine, rub her matted hair for few second. Then brush her hair.

You can buy Buddy wash, Buddy rinse, Buddy Splash and CowBoy magic detangle and Shine from Amazon.com.

Her hair is always shine and silky now.

I want a straight look with my natural hair, can someone tell me what kind of product i can use to g

I've had my hair natural for over two years. I'm getting tired with the braids, the twist, the ponytail, the affro do etc. I've hot combed it once or twice and it left me with a lot of breakage. I want to know if there is a product out there I can use to give me the option of having straight hair without using a relaxer. I see many products on the internet but there are not in stores. Can anyone help me?

I want a straight look with my natural hair, can someone tell me what kind of product i can use to get that?

well, personally i would try a flat iron. It helps with your to be straight without the damage of a hot comb. plus you might to use to make your hair health buy purchasing products that help with damage and dry hair. I use this on mine and now my hair is straighter and healthier. I use the products by garnier.

I want a straight look with my natural hair, can someone tell me what kind of product i can use to get that?

.........a straightener

I want a straight look with my natural hair, can someone tell me what kind of product i can use to get that?

you need to go to a salon. they do it all the time. i got mine done today.

I want a straight look with my natural hair, can someone tell me what kind of product i can use to get that?

i dont know if it will help any but my mom fried my hair like to years ago while perming it and my boy friends sister told me to use infusium 23 leave in treatment and dove prducts and it works great

I want a straight look with my natural hair, can someone tell me what kind of product i can use to get that?

I have gel called hemp straightening balm its made by alterna enzymetherapy it works good with a brush and blowdryer

I want a straight look with my natural hair, can someone tell me what kind of product i can use to get that?

You need to get it relaxed, because by your picture you look black, and that is what all my black friends do to get their hair straght.

I want a straight look with my natural hair, can someone tell me what kind of product i can use to get that?

If you're black, then u probably need a relaxer or a perm. But, if you don't want to go that road, then you need to use a hot comb or a flat iron after you wash and dry your hair. Hope that helps!

I want a straight look with my natural hair, can someone tell me what kind of product i can use to get that?

Anything you use on your hair to straighten it will have to be harsh chemicals or harsh heat. It'll just damage your hair even more! Stay natural! I'm transitioning from relaxers, and plan to chop my hair in September. Good luck!

Question about damaged hair, how do I get it back in shape?

My hair is color treated about once every 6 months with highlights, this last time for whatever reason it fried it. Now the front is really frizzy and hard to comb out after I shower, it used to shine and bounce and now it looks awful, I dont know what I might be able to go get to help it get more healthy, and should I go get a few inches cut off?

Question about damaged hair, how do I get it back in shape?

You cannot make unhealthy hair healthy again, in other words, you can trim hair to get rid of the split ends but you cannot condition it to get rid of the split ends. Lay off the chemicals for awhile, get a trim every 6 weeks until all the frizz is gone and you will have your old hair back again before you know it!

Question about damaged hair, how do I get it back in shape?

try getting a trim, and use some intensive conditioners like aussie.

Question about damaged hair, how do I get it back in shape?

you can get pantene time renewal. or you can go to the hair dresser to help you.

Question about damaged hair, how do I get it back in shape?

Well..........

i think you could go to the hair style MASTER lol

No really

Question about damaged hair, how do I get it back in shape?

A good way to treat your "fried" hair is to deep condition it although professional conditioners can help but doing it at home works better and you can condition it to your degree.

Egg Conditioner (my personal favorite hair care conditioner)

1 teaspoon of baby oil

1 egg yolk

1 cup water

Directions:

Beat the egg yolk until it's frothy, add the oil then beat again. Add to the water. Massage into scalp and hair. Let soak 1-3 minutes. Rinse well.

Trust me it works very well the ingredients may seem a little odd but it works a lot better then the expensive over the counter treatments!

Question about damaged hair, how do I get it back in shape?

You are going to have to cut some of the splits will go right to the cuticle. Despite all the advertising, hair cannot be repaired because it is not living. A scalp massage with olive oil and a few drops of aromatherapy oils such as lavender/rosemary/sage is good. After you have massaged it into your scalp, work it down to the freshly cut ends and wrap it in plastic for an hour to let the heat penetrate.

Question about damaged hair, how do I get it back in shape?

you cnt repair damaged hair but yo defienetely can help it to appear healthy again, and protect it from further damage. I suggest using a v ery gentle shampoo like loreal kids 2-in-1 and for conditioner its hard to recommend something for conditioner because everyones hair reacts differently but here a a few deep conditioner i think you should try

loreal natures therapy mega moisture (you can buy it at sally neauty supply)

redken all soft heavy cream (ive tried their shampoo and regular conditioner it just dosent work though so stick to the heacy cream for deeper conditioning)

biolage ultra hydrating balm

good luck! i hope your hair improves

ps. a good shampoo and conditioner that detangles for me really well is aussie sydney smooth, but although i found it detangled well, it really didnt moisturize as good as i wanted it to. you could try it though!

How do I get hair like Danielle Lloyd?

Danielle Lloyd from Celeb Big Bro had her like it a lot.

It was half up and half down with a hairband, the part that was up was pushed back to look quite 60's. A friend said you have to back comb, and when I've tried it sticks up where as hers was flat. Everytime I put my hair in a pinytale and push it forward then secure it, it falls back to normal even with hairspray. Please someone point me to a tutorial or give me step by step instructions? THANKS XX

http://www.viewimages.com/Search.aspx?mi... picture. Apart from its a lot more raised than that.

How do I get hair like Danielle Lloyd?

you could probably take a half section of your hair and secure it and then put a headband on.

How do I get hair like Danielle Lloyd?

Go to your hair stylist and tell him or her your desire to get your hair done like Danielle Lloyd because taking advise on how to do it on the net could damage your hair;looking on the bring side

if anything bad you get to have your stylist re do it for you.e

Can any one of you give me tips on how to straighten my hair?

Well I have very thick hair and it doesn't cover my neck and only a little of it goes in my ears. I already tried combing it, using special shampoo and sprays. Please help me. Should I try using a straightner?

Can any one of you give me tips on how to straighten my hair?

A straightener would probably be your best bet. They make steam release ones now that can be used on wet hair so they don't take as long. Just be careful not to overdo it.

Can any one of you give me tips on how to straighten my hair?

back in the day when long straight hair was in style we used to iron our hair , wed lay our head on the ironing board and take wax paper and put it on the hair then iron the wax paper and our hair would be straight. of course this takes 2 people to do

How can i make my hair more volumized??

i have recently just got lots of layers in my hair, i dont want it to be flat but i dont want to just make the top volumized and the bottom just straight, then it looks like i have a mullet, i do not want that, and if i back comb it all it looks like a have an afro, and non of the volume stays anyways!! Help Me Please!!!

How can i make my hair more volumized??

blow dry your hair upside down

How can i make my hair more volumized??

Try these things:

1. Volumizing shampoo and conditioner

2. When you get out of the shower brush it, and shake the wetness out of it.

3. When you blowdry, bend over upside down.

4. If it's puffy after this, slightly straighten the different layers, but don't leave the straightener on one section for too long. just run it through.

How can i make my hair more volumized??

root lifter before you blowdry

How can i make my hair more volumized??

well i use big and sexy hair products...i have thin short hair and i love it....its makes me look like i have thicker high and it dont weigh down your hair either....you can usually get it at hair salons, and sometimes if your target sells products like that you can....BIG AND SEXY...get the shampoo, sonditioner, and the blow dry gel...and it works i gararente

How can i make my hair more volumized??

yeh the blow drying works too, i have straight flat hair but like sometimes when i want it to be big i use the Dove hair volumizer shampoo, it actually really helps. or i guess any volumizer shampoo would work, when you're washing your hair just leave the shampoo in your hair for about 5 minutes then rinse it off, then after i shower i pat my hair with a towel then blow dry it upside down. when your hair is dry it should look bigger than usual. it works for me, you should try. =)

How can i make my hair more volumized??

I have this problem too I got layers to try to make my hair look fuller but it didnt help much and if i back comb it too much it looks like a rat nest.

What I do is focus on the roots teasing it very lightly and adding a light...i mean really light amount of hair spray. If you just tease it a little it gives you an effect of more volume without the knoted look.if you make it too poofy for your taste you can always lightly comb the top layer also theres always clip in extentions if all else fails

if you go neglect you will get all sorts of locks from thin to thick, check out dr bronners soap or use sunlite dish soap

Growing DREADLOCKS with the neglect method?

I do believe this website is called yahoo 'answers' not yahoo 'opinions'.

There are plenty of websites specifically designated for people outlet their criticisms and opinions about stupid bullshit. This is not one of them. Report It

Growing DREADLOCKS with the neglect method?
