A girlfriend of mine burned a small section of her hair....

Should she worry about getting that piece trimmed when she gets a haircut?

She combed out all the burnt part easily.

Quite the reverse actually. There's a split end treatment for long hair that involves twisting the hair and burning off the split ends. Most likely, that part will be healthier!

I would imagine so. She needs to get it cut to an appropriate length before it wrecks that patch of hair completely. Be on the safe side.... If you get it trimmed back it will grow back better anyway.

yeah she will have split ends, but i wouldnt worry about it too much.
