I am thinning on top; how can I keep my hair looking neat?

I'm not actually fussed about going bald, so I'm not concerned about hiding the fact; I usually have a short back and sides, but the hair on top has started to look scruffy as it's getting very thin- I just want to look neat, so what can I do? Or is shaving it/ naff comb-over my only option?

Keeping it reasonably short is usually best. You don't have to shave it, but if it's cut with trimmers on about 1/2 inch all over (or even 3/4 inch) you may find that looks better.

Do not do the comb over - I would just shave it off if you are okay with that - I think that looks good on a man.

just keep it short almost like a buzz (but depends on the thinness of the balding).. the longer the worse it will look, keep it neat and trimmed short

shaving usually looks best. not as good with black hair unless you shave really really short

shave it off, my dad had an awful comb over since i was born I'm 37 and he shaved the lot off last hear on his 64th birthday it knocked 20 years off him totally improved his self esteem it was the best thing he ever ever did

I have seen haircuts that are amazing that look like the back hair is brushed forward as well as whatever hair ya have and they can do excellent hairstyles. Just ask ahead of time to get someone who specializes in thin hair. I am a woman who is hopefully not balding, but I, like my mother have always sought out hair dressers who know thin hair.

Have a very close crop nearly Shaved off ,I think Men are lucky these days to be able to do that and look sexier than men with hair ,Go For it,

No one will see what you have between your legs and on your chest, and if they do, you can just comb it. LOL, Just cut it off. It really looks stupid for guys that try to cover their head with 3 strands combed neatly across the top. LOL.

don't shave it just yet, there's rogane or you could buy the wal-mart brand which is cheaper but it has the same active ingredient. it's about 40 dollars for three bottles each bottle lasting a month. there's also a pill called propecia which yes does effect a small percentage of males sex drives but the effects are not permanent so I guess it's worth a shot if you want to keep some hair on your head. otherwise I hear there are also some surgeries where they take skin that grows hair somewhere else on your body and graft it on your scalp. It's probably the hardest route but I was say the most effective.

Good luck... You could always buy wigs but that's awkward if it falls off at the worst moment. lol

My husband is too. He went to my hairdresser %26amp; she left abit of length, looks much better.

Dont shave it, go to your wife or partners hair dresser she/he will make you look sexy %26amp; give you abit of confidence.
