How to lose belly fat? And how to manage curly, dry hair?

My friend is 5'6 or 168 cms and weighs 60 kgs. She is not thin or fat - somewhere in between, and she is quite pretty. The only problem she has is that her tummy is not flat, it has extra fat on it. She wants to reduce it. Please suggest some ways to make it flat and toned.

Her hair is also quite frizzy, dry, rough and curly. Her mom doesn't allow her to use anything on it other than plain shampoo, so she can't even use hair cream. Can you please suggest some methods of managing it and reducing the frizz, like something using kitchen remedies, or a way of combing it or something? Thankyou.

The best way to lose belly fat is by walking or running.

Pilates will also work but its a longer process.

For frizzy hair, take a teaspoon of lemon juice and mix it with the shampoo.

good luck!

I suggest dancing for loosing belly fat. It's really effective. My belly was the fattest part of my body, but once I started dancing 3 years ago, it's now my favourite and probably the thinnest part of my body. As for hair... what about straightening it?

if she just wants to lose stomach fat then she should do crunches/sit ups...running and swimming are also good for the body in general so yeah...

she could use a different shampoo/conditioner...

Can't help with hair!

Variety of exercise is the key I have found. For example..an exercise called Mountain Climbers. Its from a workout that also contains a section for females and males which is excellent.

Mountain climbers are done by starting in a pushup position

and then shuffling your feet in and out so that your knees are

moving in under your chest and then back out to starting

position. It sort of resembles climbing a mountain but flat on

the floor. If you want an advanced version, you can also shuffle your hands 8-10 inches forward and backward in

addition to the leg movements. This really makes it a full

body exercise and MUCH more difficult than standard mountain climbers.

After finishing each exercise, rest about 30 seconds before

starting the next exercise. Rest about 1-2 minutes after

completing each "tri-set" before repeating.

This will give you one of the best ab workouts you've ever had

without even doing any direct ab exercises. You'll see what I

mean after you try it!

Once you get away from the myth that a 1000 crunches and 500 situps a day is all you need to do for great abs, then amazing results can be seen.

There is a completely free 65 page ebook about exercise, nutrition, abs and stomaches in particular at http://www.projext.co.uk that you can download (no catch!) and it is excellent.

It helped me greatly.

also reduce the portion sizes of meals and never eat late at night.

as for the dry hair nothing works like warm coconut oil massage once a week. best to leave it overnight and wash in the morning with a mild shampoo.
